It is very telling that even my Alternative Screens are barely finding any candidates. I designed these screens to cast a wider net – should my standard screens strike out (usually because of high valuations in the market).
As I stated last week – I would not suggest putting any new money to work at these levels.
Here are the only two candidates from this Alternative Screen:
Ticker | Price | Fair Value | Margin of Safety | Yield % |
BMRN | $88.38 | 132 | $43.62 | 0.0% |
ESRX | $68.93 | 100 | $31.07 | 0.0% |
Most of my standard screens have a dividend yield requirement – which is obviously not the case with this screen. Express Scripts could excite me if it drops a little more – stay tuned. Click on the links to research further.
Results are based on the following screen:
- Price / Fair Value <= 0.75
- Economic Moat >= Narrow
- Financial Health Grade >= B
- Morningstar Rating = Five Stars
With baseball season starting, I found this commentary very funny – I am also a Phillies Fan, so I need a sense of humor:
