My Amazon Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars
I just finished this excellent book about overcoming your investment biases – it was really well done, hats off to Dr. Crosby.
The book takes a very complicated topic – Behavioral Finance, and explains the basics in a format anyone could understand.
The great thing about this book, is that it identifies the many pitfalls of investing based on our human biases – and also offers an investment framework to adjust your behavior to help find success.
It doesn’t hurt – that the first rule in his framework is also mine – never overpay for a stock or asset. To quote Dr. Crosby “I cannot say this emphatically enough – paying an appropriate price, commonly referred to as value investing, is the single greatest thing you can do to ensure appropriate returns and manage risk.”
I will be adding this to my Best Books for Investing Page – it was that good!
