Market Trend: Obamacare and the Election

If the Republicans were running anyone but Donald Trump – the biggest single issue would be the train wreck that is Obamacare. Even Democrats are bailing on the plan:

This is not a partisan Republican saying this – it is the Democratic Governor of Minnesota Mark Dayton.

Here is some more good news:

According to MarketWatch, healthcare costs have increased 40% compared to 10 years ago, and a 21% increase since Obamacare took effect. This should be a huge issue – but not in this election cycle.

Anyway, markets are down today – and for the week, but I still don’t see a lot of value yet – here are the numbers:

Any market showing a 3 or a -3 is trending strongly – and should be factored into any options strategy you are contemplating.

Oil is still rallying along with the Dollar, everything else seems to have rolled over.  Could we still get a large October sell off?
