Really hating this market, made no trades in November 2024, lack of candidates that fit my screens. I guess you shouldn’t complain when everything in your portfolio is going higher (all at the same time), even my cash is still making over 5 percent. Anyway, another Healthcare REIT finally showed up on my Cash Secured Put screen this morning, so I made the following trade on Omega Healthcare Investors:
- Sold: Ten (10) Jan 17, 2025 Puts at $0.60
- Strike Price: $39.00
- *Premium Collected: $600.00
If I am put the shares on January 17th, 2025, I will collect the first $670.00 dividend in early February 2025. I really like this sector, but I am not crazy about the premium collected in this trade – this is still a tough market for selling options.
