On Friday I had 1000 shares of Pfizer Inc (PFE)Â called from my account at $38 dollars per share. At the time, the shares were trading at $38.88 per share. Not my best trade, but I did make a substantial profit, so I am not complaining. Here are the numbers:
- Bought 1000 shares at $31 per share – sold at $38 per share = *profit of $7,000.00.
- Also received $570.00 for the August 2020 38 strike price calls I sold = *profit of $570.00.
- Also received 10.5 shares in dividend payments, current value of $408.24.
I wish I still had the shares – my stock holdings are at an all time low of 15% of my portfolio – but in my defense, there is really nothing to buy!
I guess I could join the idiots bidding up Tesla:
- ZeroHedge – Tesla’s P/E Ratio Moves Past The Thousand Mark
But I don’t think that is going to end well for the folks buying right now đŸ˜‰
