Trading Options – Was there really a coup attempt in Turkey?

I am not making any stock picks right now – looking to raise cash if the market keeps rising.  You don’t make money buying assets at these valuation levels – unless you can time your selling to greater fools right before the crash – and I can’t do that.

Regarding the supposed coup attempt in Turkey – am I the only one who finds the whole episode fishy?

• Bloomberg – The Coup Failed, But Erdogan’s Wrath Keeps Investors on Edge
• Business Insider – Turkey’s purge keeps growing

Strange that the markets are basically ignoring this whole episode? Turkey has a population of 75 Million people – larger than the UK.
