In my opinion, Quantitative Easing (QE) conducted by Central Banks only benefit the rich (i.e. individuals who own substantial assets) – in the false hope wealth will trickle down to the middle class. I enjoyed these two articles coming at the problem from different angles:
- Bloomberg: QE’s Shortcomings Show Up in Global Wealth
- The Felder Report: Anyone Who Claims “Stocks Are Not Overvalued” Is Either Tragically Myopic Or Completely Disingenuous
I like the Felder Report – Blog – but get the sense he went short early. I agree with his analysis – but it is really hard to know when valuations will actually matter, especially with such a supportive Federal Reserve.
