Leaders of 150 nations are meeting in Paris this week to work on a global climate change agreement. As I have discussed in previous posts – I think all pollution is bad, regardless of its effects on the Earth’s temperature. If you don’t understand the issue – Bloomberg has a very nice interactive site:
- Bloomberg – Carbon Clock
Hit the arrow at the bottom of the screen to move forward in the presentation. I found it very informative.
I have no idea what the answer is – especially when you consider the growth in fossil fuel production in the United States:
- Business Insider – The American energy story in 10 charts
I also found a really cool interactive site from the Washington Post – you can use it to see how your state generates its electricity (Coal, wind, nuclear?):
- Washington Post – Mapping how the United States generates its electricity
