Big drama today over Trump’s controversial nominee for Education Secretary, billionaire Betsy DeVos:

Let’s take a look at her qualifications:
- She never attended Public Schools;
- Her children have never attended Public Schools;
- She has never taught or worked in a Public School;
- She couldn’t identify basic education terms at her confirmation hearing in January 2017;
- She and her family have given millions to Republicans in the Senate.
Seems reasonable to me – why is everyone complaining? And of course, the Democrats are having a field day with this – here are some highlights:

Her nomination seems like an unforced error – I think Trump should have pulled the nomination after the hearings rather than wasting political capital on an unqualified candidate.
