And how are those negative rates working for Japan? Japanese stocks sink 5.4% overnight:
- Wall Street Journal – U.S. Stocks Decline After Rout in Japan
- New York Times – Bonds Follow Bank of Japan Into Negative Territory
Even so, a value investor I respect is finding opportunities in this market:
He is wary of China and Central Bank bubbles, but is finding value in companies like UBS. As I noted yesterday, Financials are cheap by any measure.
