I have a watchlist again! The sell off on Friday did little to revert this market to any recognizable mean – but at least stocks are actually appearing on my stock screens!
Ticker | Price | Fair Value | Margin of Safety | Yield % |
AMGN | $166.55 | $194.00 | $27.45 | 2.2% |
SEP | $43.42 | $50.00 | $6.58 | 5.7% |
MMP | $70.66 | $76.00 | $5.34 | 4.5% |
WMT | $70.30 | $75.00 | $4.70 | 2.8% |

I would not recommend any of these stocks yet – but would have them on your watchlist. Also, both MLPs (SEP & MMP) have tax consequences that you should research before any trade.
Results are based on the following screen:
- Low fair value uncertainty.
- Wide moat.
- Morningstar rating 4 or more stars.
- Financial Health Grade >= B.
- Current P/E <= 20.
Not sure why I find this interesting – but Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert, blogged yesterday that he felt Hillary Clinton just became unelectable:
