Today started out with a major sell off – hope this bodes well for my wish list stocks – I try to get a 25% Margin of Safety before I make a trade.
Looks like I will already get put Merck next week, unless the stock rallies – so I am good with Energy (XLE) and Health Care (MRK).
Financials are looking very cheap right now – but maybe for a reason (negative interest rates anyone?). Would prefer a retailer or something else in the consumer space – which has taken a beating – preferably, with a large dividend. Wal-Mart fits the bill – but needs to get a lot cheaper for me to make a trade.
